Crafted in Melbourne by Bakery Hill Distillery, Australia’s oldest mainland whisky distillery, Kholiye is an Australian single malt whisky created in honour of the welcome our community has carried from Delhi to Melbourne and into homes across Australia. 

Bottled for Diwali 2026, the Festival of Lights, Kholiye is a whisky made to be shared. In Hindi, kholiye means "open it", and that's the invitation: crack the bottle, gather your people, and let the evening unfold.

What makes it stand out? This is the first Bakery Hill release made entirely from locally grown barley. You'll notice it straight away, with an unmistakable freshness and bright tropical notes on the palate.

The spirit has been matured in a combination of american oak ex-bourbon casks and virgin european oak for 7 years.
